Well bloggers, it is time for the Sweet Stampin Challenge again, and this time we are looking for Distressing on Birthday cards. Me - I love this type of thing, but I know it is not everybody's cup of tea. I think most people might think this is grungy rather than distressed!
My papers are 29th Market Street - I have used both sides, and they have been liberally torn, nibbled, and inked with Distress Ink. The main image is a B Line Designs Stamp, as is the tiny air balloon down the side. The tickets are a Tim Holtz stamp. The sentiment is computer generated. I have used Distress Crackle Paint over it. The ribbon has been coloured with distress ink and copics to give it a slightly grungy look.
This card is destined for a friend of mine who is off travelling for a while just after his big 60, hence the subject of the card.
I am entering this card for the following challenges:
- CES Challenge - Anything goes
- Srampin' for the Weekend #45 - Anything goes
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate your comments.
