Seeing Red at Cupcake and a few other challenges ...

A second post from me is fairly unusual, but this red challenge is right up my street, and I have a really fun card for it.  I made this for a friend and it is now safe to blog it.

The image is  from Bugaboo.  I coloured with Copics, and added a bit of glossy accents to her glasses.  I am not sure what the papers are they are leftovers from Christmas, but they inspired the colours I decided to use.

I am entering this for the following challenges:

Cupcake craft challenges - Seeing Red
OSAAT challenge – Anything digi
Crafts and Me - It's Red
Gingerloft Challenges - Red
Scrapbook Sisters - Red, red, red
Moving along with the times - Red
Stamp Something - February digi day
By the Cute & Girly Challenge - Red is all around us
Little Claire - Anything goes

I really appreciate it that you take the time to look at my blog and leave such lovely comments. Thank you each and every one of you.

Is it really May?

We had hailstones yesterday and it has totally battered my lovely tulips in their pots.

This is the first time I seem to have got a decent coloured image of this stamp, although I have had it for some while.  The Sweet Pea stamps are quite exotic looking, and this is what I have tried to convey with this image, which is ching-chou kuik's Love is Gone.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:

I have used Crate Paper, Plum Blossom paper, and the patterned paper is the reverse of the orange one.  The image is coloured with copics, and I have used a Sakura Clear glittery pen for accents, and some Stickles StarDust.  Ribbon is from stash and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, with leaves punched with Martha Stewart and Leome punches.  The dies for the background papers I bought at the NEC and are from Little Claire - they go throught he Cuttlebug really well.  Sentment is quite old and very inky, so not sure what it is.

Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate your comments.
