Anything but .........

The challenge no 78 on One Stop Craft Challenge, they have asked for anything but a card.  I have made a little box with some notelets (these aren't cards really - are they?!?)  in it for a friend.    She has been with me through thick and thin, and we have been friends for at least 36 years. and met when we were working in London for the same company, and discovered we were only 15 miles apart!

I saw the tutorial for this on Splitcoast Stampers, and adjusted the sizes to fit.  I saw something similar to this on the blog of the very talented Bev Rochester, and thought at the time, it was such a lovely idea.

The box is made from Stampin' Up cardstock, and image is from Birdie Love plate from Whiff of Joy, and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The butterly is from a due by Marianne's Creabilities.  Because it is not punched though all the tiny bits of waste have to be removed from the due with a pin, which is really fiddly.

The post looks poo - I could not get everything to line up properly!

Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate your comments.

  2. Love the box and notelets Val. The little 'none cards' are so fresh and pretty. I can just imagine how fiddly poking all those little bits out of the butterfly was. I used my Nestie Fleur de Lis die last night and that was bad enough.

I bet your friend is going to love this gift.
