Let's Alter It at Anything Goes

At  Anything Goes  this week we would like to see Altered Projects - anything as long as it is not a card, so lots of scope for all your inspiration.

This is my piece of work - a small wooden box.  I have used PaperArtsy Fresco Chalk paints on this, staring with a darker green colour, dired that, and then covered with covered it with with crackle finish, and then when that was dry went over with a light green colour.  The top coat cracks to show the darker colour underneath.  The edge of the lid is wrapped with cream lace, and a fancy button applied .  On the top is a handmade flower, and leaves colour from the Tim Holtz tattered leaves, and then stamped and coloured with distress stain.

I am entering this into the follwing challenges:

Stamp n Doodles - Lace and Flowers
Make it Monday - Always Anything Goes
Corrosive Challenge - Another Dimension

I really appreciate it that you take the time to look at my blog and leave such lovely comments. Thank you each and every one of you.

Hugs,

  19. Val, this is soooo lovely. I do like the green and crackle effect and the pink flower is fabulous too. I must try those TH leaves. Look at 'em and think, nah, next time. Too many things to spend my money one already! I look forward to working with you as well. The degree of heat thing; in your temp that's about 100 + - well, one day in London it got to about 40 C degrees and I nearly melted! Hubby and I were looking for a laundromat to do the inevitable travelling round of washing and had to walk a way to find one working - it was opposite a pub! Guess where we spend the waiting time!
