Hi everybody
What happened to the sun that came out Friday morning? Who switched it off? It has been dark, damp, dingey and cold since then. Well - I knews I had to get my entry done for the One Stop Card Crafts Challenge, and that I needed to start on sorting out my craft room. Easier said than done me thinks, but I have made a start.
At One Stop Card Crafts this week we want to see a card for a child. We are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish. The have a large range of digital stamps and papers - so why not go along and check them out.
Please pop along to One Stop Card Crafts to have a look at the fabby creations of the team, and enter our challenge.
For my card this week, I have followed the sketch from the Lili of the Valley Challenge. I have also used an an LOTV image called Big Present, and I think you can see why - poor little boy - the present is almost as big as he is. My papers are from Nitwit Collections, Bear Boys To. The dark brown cardstock is some I discovered when having a sort - it is Cordinations Chocolate range - with brown one side and blue the other, so I used the reverse side for the corner pieces and the backing on the greeting. I have used Copics for colouring.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Lili of the Valley Challenge - - following a sketch by Dena
Charisma Cardz Challenge - Birthday
Crafty Sentiments - Anything goes
Moving Along with the Times - Ring out the old, ring in the new (Old - stamp I have had for more than 6 months, paper bought this week)
Rainbow Lady Challenge - It's all new - My paper is new
Stampin' B's Design - Something Old - Something New (Old - stamp I have had for more than 6 months, paper bought this week)
The Creative Cottage - Something new - My paper is new.

At last a blogging friend who, like me, only managed to post two cards since Christmas. Both are lovely Val! I have been struggling to catch up with everyone and there are prolific little crafters out there who have made ten posts since my last visit! It's soooo hard to get around! Hope you are well now. Happy New Year. Warmest of wishes, Lesley

Don't feel too sorry for the "poor boy", lol. At that age it seems that the SIZE of the present is real important - the bigger the box the better!
