I have chosen an image from a stamp sheet by Elusive Images, Flora and Fauna,. There are some lovely floral images on this plate suitable for many different occasions.
The image is poppies, and I have coloured this with copics and then given a wash of Twinkling H20's to give it a slight sheen. The colours are reminiscent of my favourite poppy, which is Patty'sPlum, which is a sort of moody dark pinky colour, and when the sun shines the petals positively shimmer as they are paper thin. I have offset the image on to a green panel to match the punched border, and the ribbon tones with this as well.
The edge border is punch with a Martha Stewart punch and the plain panel has been through the cuttlebug to emboss with dots. The sentiment is by American Art Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate your comments.
